Dan & Betty Adams

Danny has worked in the protein business since 1965. Early in his career, he held positions including Retail Buying, Merchandise Operations and Vice President of Perishable Operations. He began working for Showell Farms in 1985 where he became the Director of Sales and Marketing, South East Region and National Accounts Salesman after the Perdue acquisition.

In 1996, Danny, along with his wife, Betty, founded B&D Consultants. Their vision was to offer unparalleled service to the customer through partnership with the vendors. Danny's longstanding experience and expertise has been the driving force in the success of the company forming strong relationships throughout the industry.

Don Click

Donald Wayne Click II grew up on a cattle/dairy/poultry farm near the Harrisonburg, Va. Graduated from University of Tennessee/ Knoxville, completing undergraduate degrees in business and science. Beginning in 1985 went into the poultry industry spending time with Holly Farms, Tyson, Showell Farms, Perdue and Fieldale Farms prior to joining B & D Consultants in 2007. Resides in Orlando with my wife and 3 daughters.

Dan Adams Jr.

Daniel Adams Jr. was born into the chicken business in 1987.

Growing up Dan would work summers in the B&D office tracking protein markets and tracking orders for customers, when he came of age he would accompany members of the Q.A. team on site visits to protein processing facilities working closely with their onsite management and Q.A. teams.

Dan joined the B&D team full time in 2010, after attending the University of Mississippi studying Business.

Among his responsibilities are: Sales, the on boarding and development of new customers; Quality Assurance, on site plant and store visits; Logistics, the booking and tracking of orders for customers; Customer Service, Dan is always striving to exceed customer’s expectations. “There is no substitute for personal contact” is the foundation of Dan’s business philosophy.

Bill Shipley

Director Of Global Quality Assurance for B&D Consultants Bill has over 40 years of plant based Quality and Food Safety experience in the food industry. Starting in 1979, with Cargill Beef, Bill worked the next 21 years working in all aspects of live processing, Fabrication and further processing at several of Cargill’s Beef plants.

In 1983 was tapped to be the Technical Quality and Food Safety Manager over the Colorado division of Cargill. In 1991 went into Protein Further Processing and over saw the Cargill facility in Marysville California and Booneville, AR.

In 2001 accepted a position with Blooming Brands to oversee the Quality, Food Safety and Humane Handling of their suppliers of meat, poultry and seafood.

In 2006 was promoted to Global VP of Quality and Food Safety for all suppliers for all concepts, 6 concepts in total. Bill also developed and Co-Chaired Blooming Brands Food Safety and Quality Advisory Board for Animal Proteins, Seafood, Dairy and Produce Annual Committee Members Included: Dr David Theno, Dr Dell Allen, Dr Mohammad Koohmaraie, Dr Nick Nickelson, Dr Jeff Savel, Ronnie Stahl.

In 2013 after restructuring Bill accepted a position with National Beef and was the R&D and New Business Manager for their further processing plant Kansas City Steaks.

In 2015 Bill accepted a position with B&D Consultants getting back to his roots of Quality and Food safety auditing.

Nelson Ospina

Nelson graduated from Florida International University with a Bachelors of Science in October of 2002. His education experience includes Biology and Chemistry laboratory classes. In addition, he is certified by Cornell University to Develop and implement Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point Plans.

Nelson grew up in the food industry where his grandfather founded and operated a restaurant franchise. In 2000, he began focusing on quality assurance of fresh and frozen seafood for foodservice and retail accounts. Nelson joined B&D Consultants in 2009, He performs quality assurance audits on a daily basis in the South Florida area.
